Who We Are and What We Believe
We believe the Old Testament is the inspirated Word of God and beneficial to us. However, God has expressed His specific will for the Church through the inspired writings and events of the New Testament.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, also known and referred to as The Trinity.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His perfect sinless life, His miracles and His necessary and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose guidance and gifts enable us to live Godly lives in the community of the Church.

We believe in the personal and imminent return of Jesus Christ to earth.

We believe in the resurrection from the dead for the saved, as well as for the lost. The saved for the resurrection to eternal life; the lost for the resurrection to eternal punishment.

We believe in the New Testament pattern of observing Communion on each Lord’s Day.

We believe that the New Testament gives us the following pattern for salvation. We practice this pattern for membership, but also out of obedience to His Word.
For someone to be saved through Jesus Christ one must:
Hear the gospel message – Romans 10:17
Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior – John 3:15-18
Confess Jesus Christ as God’s Son – Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10
Repent of sin – Acts 2:38, 3:19, 17:30
Choose to be baptized through immersion – John 3:5-7; Acts 2:38; I Peter 3:18-22;
Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:1-8
Continue to live a life of prayer and discipleship – Romans 1:17; II Peter 3:18; Revelation
2:10; Acts 2:42; Colossians 4:2; Philippians 4:6
